Glozevolants are birdlike humanoid creatures. They are usually black and/or grey in coloration, with large hooked beaks and “taloned” three digit hands.

An average glozevolant has an intelligence nearly equal to a human twelve year old, and an attention span to match. They are easily distracted and hard to converse with for that reason. They do not speak Common, but have their own language.

Glozevolants always travel in pairs, regardless of sex. One is generally impervious to physical attacks, while the other is immune to Magikal attacks. Glozevolants are very long-lived and an average life span is about 750 years. They are not commonly encountered. When threatened, glozevolants will shriek and dance about to intimidate the enemy. Rock, stick and pine cone-throwing may occur if the dance and shriek method fails to have an effect. Should this also fail to drive off the threat, the glozevolants will usually run away, using an ability to draw on the area’s latent Magik to become Invisible.

Other monsters often refer to glozevolants as “collector -birds” due to their penchant for shiny objects and odd trinkets.

Glozevolants squawk and move in the jerky, jittery fashoin of birds.
